This island green is the Heartland of Keltia. Erinna's farms and fields produce most of Keltia's foodstuffs. Erinna's major crops are Wheat, Barley, Oat, and potatoes. Erinna also produces the finest cows and horses in all of Keltia.
The Geography of Erinna is mainly a broad and undulating central limestone plain's area ringed almost completely by coastal highlands. One of the chief non-agricultural exports of Erinna is fine green and white limestone. Much of central interior of Erinna is still covered with thick ancient forests.
These forests are sacred to the Druids and somewhere deep within their borders the Archdruid is said to have his sacred grove. The Order of Druids makes Erinna their base of operations and all those seeking to become druids must travel here to be trained. The Druids Training facility and University are located near the base of Tara. Upon the summit of Tara sits an Ancient ring of standing stones and the stone of destiny where the Archdruid crowns the Keltic Ardrigh.
Erinna is also the homeland of the Valorian (Golden) Elves who are said to live in crystal cities deep in the ancient forests hidden and protected by ancient magics. Little is known about the Valorian Elves though they sometimes wander out of their forests to visit the human cities and confer with the Druids. From time to time they will trade their artwork and crafts for human made tools and items. It is said that Urther Pendragon convinced several of the most talented of the Valorian Elves to travel with him to Vannin to help him build the Keltic capital of Avalon.
Much of central Erinna is still unsettled and rural. The major human cities, towns, and villages tend to cluster around the coastal areas. The Major cities of Erinna are Cathair ne Mart, Gaillimh, Luimneach, Corcaigh, Baile Atha Cliath, and Bael Feirste. Unfortunately Erinna has no network of roads or highways so travel tends to be slow and generally by water if possible.
